JEE Main Registration 2025 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the application form for the JEE Main Session 1 exam on October 28, 2024. The application window is open for the period of one month. Candidates who meet the JEE Main eligibility criteria can fill out the application form at jeemain.nta.ac.in. The JEE Main registration last date is November 22, 2024. NTA also opened the JEE Main form correction window. The JEE Main correction window is open from November 26, 2024, to November 27, 2024. Aspiring candidates can apply for the JEE Main exam using three steps: a) Registration b) Filling out the application form, and c) Payment of the Application Fee.

As per the JEE Main eligibility criteria, candidates who passed Class 12th in 2023 or 2024 or who will take it in 2025 are eligible to register for the JEE Mains 2025 exam. If it is discovered that the candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria, the candidature will be rejected.

The JEE Main registration fee for male and female General candidates is Rs 1000 and Rs 800, respectively. For candidates belonging to the Gen-EWS/ OBC (NCL) category, the registration fee is INR 900 and INR 800 for male and female candidates, respectively. The JEE Main application fee for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender candidates is 500 INR.

JEE Main Registration 2025

The National Testing Agency (NTA) issues separate JEE Main application forms for Session 1 and Session 2. The application process for these two sessions is distinct.

During the JEE Main registration process, candidates will be required to complete the application form by providing personal and academic information. Additionally, students must upload scanned copies of relevant documents and make the necessary registration fee payment to complete the registration successfully. It’s important to note that candidates will need to upload a recent scanned photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format as part of the application process.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2025

Aspirants involved in JEE Main preparation must fulfill the eligibility requirement as set by NTA. The candidate will be disqualified from the exam if it is later determined that he or she is ineligible. JEE Main eligibility must be fulfilled by every candidate aspiring to take admission into the B.Tech, B.Arch, or B.Plan program. How to Fill the JEE Main Application Form?

Filling out the JEE Main application form entails registering, entering personal and educational details, uploading scanned documents, and paying application fees. Aspirants can check the steps to complete the JEE Main registration 2025 here:

Registration

  • Visit the official JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • Register for the online application form by providing the necessary details.
  • Candidates must create a password and select a security question and answer.
  • After successfully completing the personal information, an Application Number will be generated.

Note: An application number will be required for both sessions of JEE Main 2025. Candidates will be able to log in with their application number and password to continue.

Filling out Educational Details & Uploading Documents

  • Candidates who successfully registered can now log in to fill out the application form with system generated application number and password.
  • Candidates must fill in personal details, educational qualifications, upload scanned photographs and signatures, and the subject for which they are applying.

Note: Candidates should ensure that the uploaded photograph and signature are not blurred, as this will result in the application form being rejected.

Payment of Application Fee

  • Once the application form is filled out, the last step is to pay the JEE Main registration fee.
  • Application fees can be paid online using any of the following methods: Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Paytm.
  • A confirmation page will be generated only after the application fee has been successfully paid.
  • Candidates should ensure that they save and print the Confirmation page.
